Konectbus to Operate Special Park & Ride for Festival at Earlham Park

Two bespoke Park & Ride services will operate for the Let's Rock Norwich Festival at Earlham Park tomorrow.

A similar set-up was arranged for Radio 1's Big Weekend festival in 2015, with once again one service operating from Costessey Park & Ride (the 'blue' service) and the 'yellow' service operating from County Hall Car Park on Martineau Lane.

According to Konectbus, special fares apply to cover the additional costs of running the later service - an adult return on the special services will be £5 as opposed to the usual £3.50.

When the services operated from these sites for the Radio 1 event, the Costessey service was provided by bendy-buses and the County Hall route was operated by a mixture of VDL and Alexander Dennis double-deckers.
